# XVIII. Scamming

To maintain a balance between organic roleplay and preventing exploitation, the following guidelines are in place regarding scamming activities. All scamming attempts must be conducted within the bounds of realistic roleplay and cannot take place in safe zones or unrealistic locations.

**Prohibited Scams:**

* **High-Value Assets:** Scamming players out of high-value assets such as cars and houses is strictly prohibited.
* **Excessive Funds:** Scamming players out of unrealistic sums of money (over $100,000) or legal items is prohibited.
* **Metagaming:** Using out-of-game information (metagaming) to facilitate scams is strictly forbidden. Scams must be conducted solely within the game's mechanics.
* **Inflated Prices:** Selling assets (cars, houses) at prices significantly exceeding their market value (e.g., selling a $100,000 car for $1,000,000) is prohibited. This does not apply to transactions involving illegal or "dirty" money.

**Permitted Scams:**

* **Illegal Items/Funds:** Scamming players out of any amount of illegal money or items is permitted, provided it adheres to all other server rules.

**Additional Notes:** These rules are subject to change and will be updated as needed to maintain a fair and engaging roleplay environment.
