# XXIII. Working Microphone

To ensure clear and enjoyable voice communication for all players, a working microphone with minimal background noise is required to participate in [New Legion RP: LA🌴](https://cfx.re/join/dlqeaq).

**I. Microphone Requirements:**

* **Working Microphone:** You must have a functioning microphone.
* **Push-to-Talk (PTT):** Push-to-Talk functionality must be enabled in the in-game voice chat settings. "Hot mics" (microphones that are constantly transmitting) are strictly prohibited to minimize background noise and distractions.

**II. Accessibility & Accommodations:**

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community. We understand that some players may have disabilities that prevent them from using a microphone.

* **Exceptions:** We offer accommodations for players with disabilities on a case-by-case basis. This may include the option to engage in text-based roleplay.
* **Approval Required:** Any player seeking an exception to the microphone requirement must contact community management for approval *before* engaging in text-based roleplay.

**III. Playing Fair:**

We believe that clear communication is essential for a positive roleplay experience. Please ensure your microphone is functioning correctly and that you are using Push-to-Talk to minimize background noise.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://new-legion-rp-la.gitbook.io/newlegionrp/general-rp/xxiii.-working-microphone.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
